Belgium Travel Weather - When to Go to Belgium

Belgium is a fine place to visit in the summer, when temperatures are moderately warm. Brugge, Belgium's top attraction, is usually packed in summer months, and is best visited in early spring or fall for those who try to avoid crowds. There are some good fall colors appearing in September in Flanders.

Rain is frequent most of the year in Belgium, but is seldom heavy or long-lasting. Bring a sweather and umbrella (or buy one on the first rainy day).

Use our Belgium weather map to click on the city you're interested in to get graphs of the high and low historic temperatures, rainfall and the latest weather conditions. Below are the links to major tourist cities with historic climate information, in case you can't use the map. Note that we've combined weather and climate data for Gent and Bruges, since they're so close together.
