Geneva, close to the French border, offers a clime much like cities to the east. Geneva's temperatures are moderated by its altitude; Geneva sits at around 1200 feet above sea level.
Precipitation is pretty even throughout the year, with a little more in fall and winter than in other seasons.
Summers are pleasant and usually on the warm side in Geneva. Summer is also a good time to visit--the August temperatures are quite pleasant, but you can expect a bit of rain at times. May through mid-October is the best period, but winters in Geneva are mild and Geneva can be enjoyed thoroughout the year. Note the increase of rain in the fall.
The charts below show the historic high and low temperatures and the month by month precipitation expectations for Geneva.
